The 35-year-old convict managed to escape while being led to the place where he was being held in Nicosia and while riding in a vehicle of an official of Agia Skepi.
Specifically, around 11:15 on Thursday morning (4/11) while riding in the private vehicle driven by a member of the therapeutic community, at the point of their route, despite the junction of the Limassol-Nicosia highway with Athalassa Avenue and Limassol Avenue , at the entrance of Nicosia, got out of the vehicle, which was stopped at the traffic lights "Good evening" and fled, violating the terms of the suspension of his prison sentence and the mandatory detoxification and treatment program.
