The plan to escape a 26-year-old from a high security prison in Brazil failed as he tried to cross the prison walls through a 70-meter tunnel that he dug, he died of suffocation.
This is the 26-year-old Janson Kounia Evangelista, who was serving a prison sentence for murder.
The would-be fugitive was found dead in his cell by the guards and allegedly managed to return there after suffering hypoxia in the tunnel.
They were recruited for the search 150 police officers, where they located countless bags of rubble that reached the end of the tunnel.
