The Social Security Services, in an effort to further serve the citizens, issue on a weekly basis an announcement regarding the date of examination of the applications received and concerning pensions / allowances / benefits.
It is noted that the examination of the applications received at earlier dates is pending, for which additional information has been requested and is expected from the applicants.
1. UNEMPLOYMENT SUPPORT:
- The applications of those employees whose employment was terminated and their period of unemployment started on 18/06/2021 are examined.
- The cases of those who already receive unemployment benefit, which concerns the unemployment period July - August 2021, are examined.
2. PAYMENT DUE TO SURPLUS: Applications submitted in August 2020 are being considered. It is noted that there are a number of applications submitted before the above date for which the examination can not be completed because the employers have not yet sent the requested information.
3. INSURANCE BENEFIT: The received applications are examined until 10/06/2021.
4. DISABILITY PENSION: Applications received in June 2021 are examined, provided that they have been sent to the Medical Council.
5. DISABILITY PENSION: The received applications February - March 2021 are examined considering that they have been sent to the Medical Council.
6. BODY DAMAGE ALLOWANCE: Applications received in July 2021 are reviewed.
7. SECONDARY MEDICAL COUNCIL: The hierarchical appeals of October-November 2020 are being examined.
8. INSTITUTIONAL PENSION: The received applications for which the applicants acquire the right in April 2021 are examined.
9. SOCIAL PENSION: The received applications for which the applicants acquire the right April 2021 are examined.
10. WIDOW PENSION:
- For cases where the deceased spouse did not receive a statutory pension, the received applications in May 2021 are examined.
- For cases where the deceased spouse received a statutory pension, the received applications in May 2021 are examined.
- With the enactment of the Amending Law 126 (I) / 2019 on Social Insurance on 05/08/2019, the received applications are examined, by male applicants of 2020 and 2021.
11. FUNERAL AID:
- For the cases where the deceased received a widow's pension, the received applications are examined June - July 2021.
- For cases where the deceased received a statutory pension, did not have a spouse and the request for funeral assistance comes from another person who undertook the funeral expenses, the received applications June - July 2021 are examined.
- For cases where the deceased received a social pension, the received applications in May 2021 are examined.
- For other cases (eg the deceased was / was not retired and had a spouse, the deceased was not retired and did not have a spouse, the deceased was a young person, unmarried , and the application comes from the parent or his / her siblings, the deceased was missing) the received applications are examined June - July 2021.
12. ORPHANSY ALLOWANCE: Applications submitted in May 2021 are being considered.
13. BIRTH AID: Applications received in July 2021 are being considered.
14. MATERNITY ALLOWANCE:
- For the first payment, the received applications are examined until 06/07/2021.
- For continuous payments, applications are considered for which the necessary information has been provided (eg birth certificate) received in May - June 2021.
15. FATHERHOOD ALLOWANCE: Applications received in July 2021 are reviewed.
16. Requests for institutionalized pension, widowhood and incapacity paid under bilateral agreements and the European Union Regulation 883/04:
- Institutionalized Syntax: Applications for which responses have been received regarding data, certificates and insurance accounts from other institutions, for applicants with a date of birth in 1955–1958.
- Disability Pension: Applications received in July 2021 are reviewed.
- Widow's Pension: The received applications of August 2021 are examined for which answers have been received regarding data, certificates and insurance accounts from other bodies.
- Orphan Allowance: Applications received in May 2020 for which responses have been received regarding data, certificates and insurance accounts from other institutions are examined.
17. Criminal Cases: In July 2021 (latest data) 1189 criminal cases were pending, of which 737 concerned employers and 452 concerned self-employed.
