These champions of life are supported by the Enavsma Foundation, which aims to be the trigger for dozens of excellent students from all over Cyprus, who do not have the financial means, to pursue postgraduate studies with a scholarship and pursue their dreams. For the Academic year 2023/2024, the Enavsma Foundation offered nine scholarships totaling more than €50.000 to excellent graduates, to continue their studies in recognized Higher Education Institutions in Cyprus and abroad.
In the framework of strengthening its actions to grant as many scholarships as possible to the youth of Cyprus, the Enavsma Foundation is organizing on Wednesday, November 15, at the Administration Building of the Hellenic Bank in Nicosia, at 19.00, the charity Motivational Speakers Event "Leap of Inspiration" !
Olympians Miltos Tedoglou, Kyriakos Ioannou and Lambros Papakostas will be together for the first time on stage, in an event moderated by journalist Thanasis Fotiou, which aims to be a "Leap of Inspiration" and a source of strength for everyone!
Miltos Tedoglou is the long jump gold medalist at the Tokyo Olympics, gold world champion at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest and silver world champion at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Oregon. He has won all the major European long jump titles. , and today he is considered one of the most important Greek athletes and one of the best in the world as he is a candidate for the best track and field athlete in the world for 2023.
The champion Kyriakos Ioannou is an Olympic champion in the high jump and gave Cyprus the first medal in its history at the World Athletics Championships, in Osaka, Japan in 2007. He participated in four Olympiads and is characterized as a great form of Cypriot athletics and a point of reference for the Cypriot sports.
Lambros Papakostas is a leading figure in Greek athletics and is one of the leading jumpers in the high jump. The greatest distinction of his career was winning the silver medal at the World Indoor Championships in 1995 in Barcelona and two years later in Paris. To this day, he is the holder of the Panhellenic record in open and indoor track and field, with performances of 2,36 m and 2,35 m respectively.
Three Olympians, three different generations, three different stories, three model jumpers for the new generations.
Everyone hides their own story of strength and inspiration, which will be told at the Motivational Speakers Event "Leap of Inspiration". The journalist Thanasis Fotiou, who will coordinate the event, will talk to all three jumpers, asking his own questions and highlighting their personality and the values that have defined them.
Three stories full of inspiration, from three jumpers who star or starred in the international salons of athletics, making the Greeks everywhere proud. All together, in a charity event to support the Enavsma Foundation which aims to open paths for the youth of Cyprus through education, in order to become the leaders and pioneers of tomorrow.
