Due to the rain in various areas, the Fire Service has responded so far in 13 cases.
According to Fire Department Spokeswoman Andreas Kettis, the calls for help concerned falling and moving trees, pumping rainwater from premises and towing immobilized vehicles on flooded roads with or without passengers.
Specifically, the Fire Service responded with a fire truck from Nicosia, 7 from Limassol, 2 from Larnaca, 1 from Famagusta and 2 from the Search and Rescue Coordination Center.
