The Pancyprian Association of Leisure Center Owners expresses its reaction today to an incident, where a visitor to a leisure center used a knife against the businessman, when he was asked to present the safepass required by the decree, in order to be allowed to enter the area. (ΠΑ.Σ.Ι.Κ.Α.).
"Unfortunately, for the umpteenth time we are fully justified. Unfortunately, for the umpteenth time, the state remains exposed. "We had stated our concerns from the beginning about this provision but the state was deaf," he added.
It is also stated, "let the competent minister, the government in general, but also those who characterized us as responsible and reactionary, consider what their position would be today if a thousand times this incident had a different ending".
"Our position remains clearly unchanged, that this role belongs to the persons authorized by the state and that something else is said, whether they are pretexts in sin or weakness," the statement concludes.
