Vaccination with a booster dose starts tomorrow, November 17, for people aged 40 and over, provided that a period of six months has elapsed since the completion of their vaccination regimen. (2nd dose in the case of Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines or the Johnson & Johnson single dose vaccine).

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, From tomorrow, the beneficiaries will be able to be served in the free vaccination centers (walk-in) that operate in all the Provinces from Monday to Thursday, from 8 in the morning until 1 at noon. Alternatively, people aged 40 and over will be able to make an appointment through the Vaccination Portal from tomorrow.

It is recalled that people who received the Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna vaccine during the initial vaccination will receive the same vaccine for the booster dose. Individuals initially vaccinated with AstraZeneca will be able to choose an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer / BioNTech or Moderna). Finally, people who have received the Johnson & Johnson monosodium vaccine will be able to be vaccinated with either mRNA technology vaccine or Johnson & Johnson.

All persons must present proof of identification (identity card, passports, Alien Registration Card, etc.), as well as their Vaccination Card.
