The strong winds blowing in various parts of Cyprus also caused problems in the electricity supply.
According to the spokesperson of the EAC, Christina Papadopoulou, the strong winds that hit various areas caused cuts in tree branches, as a result of which the EAC facilities in Larnaca, Nicosia and the Famagusta District were affected.
As he mentioned, EAC crews are on foot to rectify the problems.
