The company A. Zorbas & Sons Ltd with a written announcement states that cases of coronavirus were detected at its facilities in Aradippou and that all employees underwent sampling, while the factory was disinfected and operates normally with stricter controls.

A written announcement of the company states that "the protection and safety of our customers and colleagues has always been a top priority of A. Zorpa & Sons Ltd. With the detection of the first confirmed cases of coronavirus in our country, we applied both in our production units and in our stores throughout Cyprus, very strict and preventive measures. All measures are constantly monitored and evaluated and where appropriate, based on the recommendations of experts, are reviewed and further strengthened.

It is added that "within the framework of this policy, we conducted preventive diagnostic tests, through which a specific number of cases were identified in colleagues at our company's facilities in Aradippou. In addition, the announcement continues, "we made sure that all employees in this group undergo diagnostic tests and only if they are found to be negative for the virus, they will be instructed to return to work. The facilities have been disinfected by a specialized workshop, they have been inspected and they operate normally and with the strictest controls ".

It is also stated that "our relationship with our customers and the Cypriot society as a whole has been based all these years on professionalism, honesty and trust. So we continue to be active in this difficult period for our country. We deal with any data that may arise, with a full sense of responsibility and without compromises on quality and safety issues ".

The company thanks "warmly for the support and interest" of the public and wishes Cyprus to "soon overcome this test".
