Police raid on a crown party with laughing gas in Limassol

According to a police announcement, in the context of investigating relevant information and evaluating data, members of the Limassol Police Department, in collaboration with members of YKAN (Limassol Branch) and the Avdimos Police Station, went to a specific residence in the Limassol district to conduct an investigation based on a court order.

Upon the arrival of the members of the Police in the specific area, it was found that there were too many people in violation of the Law on Infection.

As a result, 22 attendees were charged out of court for violating the Law on Dehumidification as overcrowded in a house while, during the investigation, 21 bottles of nitrogen dioxide (laughing gas) were found, the possession of which is prohibited.

The 22-year-old organizer of the party, who allegedly admitted possession of the above, was arrested for a self-inflicted crime and after being taken to the Avdimos Police Station, he was charged in writing and released.

He was also charged out of court for offenses related to the Disinfection Act.

A person was also arrested for illegal possession of an offensive instrument, ie an iron fist.

The Limassol Police Department in collaboration with the Avdimos Police Station continue the examinations.
