In a statement, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth (YPPAN) due to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Religions of Greece to proceed with the integration of Technological Educational Institutions (TEI) in Greek Universities, starting from the academic year 2019-2020, immediately, as soon as he became aware of the changes, in the study of the Access Frameworks for Public Higher Education in Greece.

The main guideline of the Ministry of Education is that all students can claim positions in departments and fields of study, depending on their preparation so far in the Directions of Secondary General Education and the programs of the Theoretical and Practical Direction of the Technical Schools.

It is clarified, again, that the Greek Ministry of Education and Religions abolished a number of Departments of TEI, while differentiating other Departments, including them in different University Schools. The Ministry of Education and Science became aware of the specific changes in July 2019 and proceeded to adapt the Access Frameworks for the Higher and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of Greece. In this context, a transitional period was given to the Cypriot graduates, who had already declared since March 2019, the examined courses for the Pancyprian Examinations 2019.

It is pointed out that given the irreversible changes in the Higher Education System of Greece, the Special Committee of the Ministry of Education will meet next week, with the aim of regulating the issues that arise, as far as possible, in relation to the required from the Ministry of Education and Religions of Greece.
