A dangerous product, which does not meet the current legislation setting out the essential safety and health requirements, has been placed on the market in the European Union. The Department of Labor Inspection of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance, informs the consumer public that according to data registered in the Rapid Information Exchange System (RAPEX) the following product is dangerous.
Personal Protective Equipment
1. Protective mask of Chinese origin.

The retention of particles by the filter is insufficient (measured value ≤ 41%). As a result, excessive amounts of particles or microorganisms can pass through the mask, increasing the risk of infection if not combined with additional protection measures. The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation.
