From mid-January 2019, when prices were the cheapest, until the end of April, the retail price for gasoline 95 increased by 15,4 cents per liter, the price of diesel increased by 8,5 cents per liter and heating oil by 9,7 cents. , XNUMX cents per liter.
As reported, from the increases in the price of gasoline 95 and diesel, for April alone, consumers paid a total of € 64 more compared to March 609. For gasoline 2019 they paid € 95 and for oil traffic € 57 238 euros.

In the same month, the average retail price of 95 petrol in the European Union, excluding taxes was 0,564 cents per liter and in Cyprus the same 0,564 cents. Diesel-free diesel in the EU was 0,618 cents per liter and in Cyprus 0,636 cents. Heating oil in the EU was 0,574 cents and in Cyprus 0,609 cents.
In general, the average price without taxes on basic petroleum products in Cyprus is higher than the average price in the European Union, with a significant difference in heating oil. For the month of April 2019, the average price of gasoline without taxes was the same as the EU Average Price
The cheapest province, taking into account the entire period from 01 04 2019 to 30 04 2019 for gasoline 95 was in order Nicosia - Limassol - Famagusta - Larnaca and the most expensive Paphos.
