• As of December 27, 2020, 19.895 cases have been diagnosed in the Republic of Cyprus COVID-19, with 117 deaths due COVID-19 (mortality COVID-19: 0,6%).

• On December 28, 149 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized. Their median age was 68 years (Intra-quadrant range: 57-80 years), with 63,1% (n = 94) involving men and 36,9% (n = 55) cases from the province of Nicosia.
• According to the recorded data, 28 people were in Intensive Care Units (ICU) - 25 people were intubated. The median age of patients COVID-19 in ICU was 72 years (Intra-quadrant range: 67-80 years), while 18 cases (64,3%) involved men. A total of 23 people (82,1%) in the ICU had underlying diseases.
• As of December 27, 2020, a total of 743.693 diagnostic (molecular) tests have been performed (82.231 per 100.000 population).
In the last 14 days, 65.099 diagnostic (molecular) tests have been performed (7.331 per 100.000 population).

In the last 14 days (December 14 - 27) 4.061 cases have been diagnosed in the laboratory COVID-19. Among the cases diagnosed in the last 14 days, 1.819 (44,8%) had a place of residence in the province of Nicosia, 1.057 (26%) in the province of Larnaca, 665 (16,4%) in the province of Limassol, 216 (5,3%) ) in the province of Paphos, 208 (5,1%) in the free area of Famagusta and 96 cases (2,4%) concerned British bases or resettlement or no information was available.
