The Police are investigating a case of medical negligence after the death of 15-year-old Ioanna Skordis.
The 15-year-old died last March at the Makarios Hospital a few days after the operation for a kidney transplant, while it was found that she had tumors.
According to information, the Legal Service has instructed the Police to investigate possible medical negligence.
At the same time, the Minister of Health, Michalis Hatzipantela, in a letter to the Public Service Commission, requested that the issue of availability of three doctors involved in the case be examined.
