The Ministry of Tourism announces a "Granted Summer Vacation Program", for the period from July 15, 2021 until August 31, 2021.
The Program will be open to Tourist Accommodations (Hotels, Organized Apartments, Tourist Villages, Agritourism Accommodations) and Tourist Offices that cooperate with legal tourist accommodation, which can offer for the period from 15 July 2021 to 31 August 2021 maximum price 80 euros (including VAT) for a double room, with breakfast, per day, with a minimum stay of 3 nights.
The Program will also provide for the coverage of 35% of the accommodation costs by the State Department.
Businesses wishing to participate in the Program for the period from July 15, 2021 to August 31, 2021 can submit a relevant application to the Ministry of Tourism. More details, as well as a statement of participation, can be obtained from the corporate website of the Ministry www.tourism.gov.cy (announcements column).
The deadline for submitting a declaration of tourism companies to participate in the Program is Friday, July 9, 2021 at 13.00. The relevant catalogs will then be prepared for the information of the public.
Beneficiaries of the Plan are all permanent residents of the island, who:
- They have been vaccinated with at least one dose
- They have recovered from the virus up to 180 days before staying in the accommodation.
For all the above, the beneficiaries must provide, in electronic or printed form, the relevant receipts upon arrival at the accommodation of their choice. Persons under 16 years of age are exempted from the obligation to produce.
