The Directorates of Secondary General Education and Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth (YPPAN), inform the parents / guardians of the students / three of the public Gymnasiums, Lyceums and Technical Schools that the registrations of students / three of the Gymnasium and Lyceum and the confirmation of the registrations of the students of the third and third grades of Gymnasiums, Lyceums and Technical Schools for the school year 2021–2022, will take place electronically from 23 to 25 June 2021 and not with the physical presence of parents / guardians in schools.
It is noted that, for the First Class of Technical Schools the registrations will take place on 22 and 23 June 2021 with physical presence of students / three and parents / guardians in the Technical Schools who wish to enroll.
2. For this purpose, the Electronic Registration Confirmation Portal at the address https://engrafes.moec.gov.cy/, which will be accessible to all parents / guardians for registration (AD Gymnasium and AD Lyceum) or registration confirmation (NW and DG classes of Gymnasium, Lyceum and Technical Schools) of their children from 23 to 25 June 2021. Parents / guardians can go to the specific Portal and through the online Link (Banner) that will be activated on the website of the Ministry of Education: www.moec.gov.cy, on Wednesday 23 June 2021. Attached, for the convenience of parents / guardians, relevant Manual in which the registration process or registration confirmation is recorded in detail.
3. Specifically, on 23 - 25 June 2021 the parent / guardian should follow the following procedure in order to confirm the registration of his child:
3.1. Login to the Online Registration Confirmation Portal:
3.2. Select the icon Confirm Registration
3.3. Registration by parent / guardian:
- his / her mobile phone number,
- his / her email address (optional),
- the ID card number of his / her child or passport or ARC number (depending on the identification number registered at the school) and
- the date of birth of his / her child in the form of DD / MM / YYYY.
Please note that if any field requires letters to be filled in, they must be entered in Latin characters (English alphabet). Also, all numbers (personal registration number, passport, ARC, telephone) must be written without spaces, without dashes, perpendiculars or dots and without zeros at the beginning.
3.4. The System automatically checks and confirms the data entered.
a) With the correct registration of the above information, the System will send a Temporary Access Code (OTP) to the mobile phone of the parent / guardian.
b) In case the data was not entered correctly, a message will appear for re-registration of the necessary data or for contacting the child's school to confirm the above data.
3.5. Registration of the Temporary Password (OTP) in the System, at which time the student's details will be displayed.
3.6. To complete the registration confirmation, the System will optionally request additional information about the student. The parent / guardian may or may not enter the specific information. Then you have to choose Confirm Registration.
3.7. After the Registration Confirmation, the option will also be given optionally the payment, through which the parent / guardian will be able to pay the amount of € 8 euros, which concerns the School (excursions, etc.).
4. Based on the above, the parents / guardians, who will successfully complete the electronic confirmation of their child's registration, will receive a relevant message on their mobile phone and e-mail address (if it has been given). Parents / guardians who have difficulty making the online confirmation can contact, during working days and hours, the school that their child will attend in the school year 2021-2022, to help them.
At the same time, parents / guardians who for any reason will not be able to confirm their child's enrollment, will have to show up at the school where their child will be studying, on 28 and 29 June 2021, to process the registration or confirmation of the registration of their child.
