Karousos: What about vaccinated Cypriots and travel (VIDEO)

The Ministry gives a "green light" to the vaccinated Cypriots.

The vaccinated Cypriots will travel from abroad to Cyprus without any restrictions, following a decision of the Council of Ministers.

According to what the Minister of Transport, Giannis Karousos, stated in his intervention on ANT1 show "Mera Mesimeri", after a decision of the Council of Ministers, the Cypriots who will hold the vaccination certificate from the Republic of Cyprus and have been granted both installments and it has been a week since the 2nd installment, they will be exempted from any restrictions when traveling from abroad to Cyprus.

That is, those citizens who have been vaccinated and hold the vaccination certificate will not be subject to laboratory tests (rapid test, pcr, etc.) but will not be subjected to any kind of self-restriction or quarantine.

"However, the right to pass them through sampling checks will be retained, if and when the Ministry of Health chooses it", clarified Mr. Karousos.

He noted that "any Cypriot citizen holding this certificate will upload it to the Cyprus Flight Pass and will travel to Cyprus with this certificate and upon arrival will not be subject to any restrictions."
