The Government Spokesman, Marios Pelekanos, issued an announcement regarding the documents published by the Phileleftheros newspaper about Cran Montana.

The new minutes published yesterday by the newspaper O Phileleftheros confirm what the President of the Republic has repeatedly stated regarding the true events, as recorded during the period of the talks in Crans Montana.
Without any intention of confrontation with anyone, it is confirmed once again that the narratives channeled by some of the actors from the United Nations side were false and misleading about the events that took place on July 4, with the ultimate goal on the one hand of exonerating the Turkish side from the responsibilities for the shipwreck in Crans Montana and on the other hand the creation of a rift on the internal front of the Greek Cypriot community.
We don't think this is the time to talk about the past. We judge, however, that the facts and the historical truth refute those who in the last five years accepted narratives that are refuted by the minutes of the United Nations themselves.
