An event, on the occasion of the World Animal Day, is organized by the Party for Animals after consultation with the Metropolitan of Limassol, Mr. Athanasios. The event will take place on October 3 at 16:00 in the afternoon in the courtyard of the church of Panagia Pantanassi (or Katholiki) in Limassol.
According to the party's announcement, the purpose of the event, which may be organized for the first time in Cyprus, apart from being a reminder of the importance and the important role of animals in our lives, is also the blessing of all animals that suffer in planet and those who need our help. The Most Venerable Metropolitan Mr. Athanasios after a brief reference to excerpts from the book about animals and a short prayer, will give his blessing to your beloved animals.
At the same time the party invites the public to attend the event with their pets, whether they are cats, dogs, birds, lizards, spiders, hamsters, fish (but to be properly in the water). All protocols related to COVID19 will be implemented during the event.
Finally, the party reminds that the public should have gloves, bags, or whatever else is needed, in order to collect those who may leave your pets behind.
