A 28-year-old man was detained for drunkenness, causing concern and for carrying a weapon to incite terror to facilitate interrogations.
According to an announcement by the Police around 22:20 yesterday, information was given to the Paphos Police Directorate that in Chloraka persons intertwine with each other and create a commotion.
Members of the Paphos police department went to the place where three people pointed at another person and reported that he had threatened them with a pistol.
In a research that was done on that person A dummy pistol was found in his possession and he was subsequently arrested for drunkenness, for causing anxiety and for carrying a weapon to arouse terror.
As it turned out, the alleged suspect, aged 28, lives in Chloraka.
