"There seems to be an agreement in principle and substance on the crossing points, which will be completed on Wednesday, with the aim of reopening them on Friday," Government Spokesman Kyriakos Kousios told KYPE when asked about today's teleconference. on the issue, the Greek negotiator, Andreas Mavrogiannis, with the special representative of the Turkish leader, Ergun Olgun, and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Cyprus, Elizabeth Spehar.

The Government Spokesman stated that Mr. Mavrogiannis will hold a new teleconference with Mr. Olgun and Ms. Spehar on Wednesday, with the aim of agreeing on the final details and reopening the crossing points on Friday.

Mr. Kousios also said that the decision to reopen the roadblocks is made on the basis of epidemiological data in relation to the coronavirus, but it remains a political decision.
