A labor accident occurred on Monday afternoon, with a 57-year-old Greek Cypriot victim from Paphos, who fell from a three-meter tripod while performing work in Lakatamia.
According to the Police, the unfortunate electrician while he was at a height of three meters, under circumstances that are being investigated, fell into the void.
An ambulance rushed to the scene and took him to Nicosia General Hospital, where the doctors on duty pronounced him dead.
The authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the unfortunate man died, while the causes of his death will be ascertained during the statutory autopsy, which will be carried out by the medical examiner Angeliki Papetta.
