Another arrest was made by the Police last night, in the context of the investigations regarding the large quantity of drugs, which were detected and seized on April 6, in Larnaca. This is a 20-year-old resident of Larnaca, whose arrest brings the total number of arrests to five.
The 20-year-old was arrested around 8.30:XNUMX p.m. yesterday, pursuant to a warrant issued against him based on testimony obtained. He was subsequently taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
It is recalled that for the same case, so far, four other persons, aged 54, 25, 19 and 33, have been arrested and are in custody.
The investigation into the case began on the evening of April 6, when members of the Police found a small amount of cannabis after searching the 19-year-old's car.
A search followed at the home of the 19-year-old, where in the presence of him and the 54-year-old, a quantity of cocaine, with a gross weight of two kilograms and 623 grams, and a quantity of cannabis with a gross weight of two kilograms and 733 grams were located and confiscated.
