Applications have been opened for the new plans of the Ministry of Labor to support workers and the unemployed.
One of the plans is the Special Unemployment Support Plan
Terms and conditions for joining the unemployed in this Special Plan for Unemployed Support Allowance:
(a) Any person who is registered as a regular unemployed person in the Public Employment Service Register throughout the month of October 2020 and received an unemployment benefit for which he has exhausted the right to payment in either January or February, either in March, April, May, or June 2020 may be included in the Special Unemployment Benefit Scheme, provided it is invited to appear at the local offices of the Public Employment Service and it is confirmed that it is fit and available for work. It is understood that the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance will make the necessary arrangements for the presentation of the unemployed at the local offices of the Public Employment Service.
The Special Unemployment Support Allowance is not provided for any period for which the unemployed person receives unemployment benefit, sickness benefit, maternity benefit, paternity benefit, statutory pension or any other benefit from the Special Plans implemented by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Welfare in October 2020.
