The President of the Cyprus Consumers' Association, Marios Drousiotis, spoke on the show "AIXMES", analyzing and comparing fuel prices both with the prices of last March and with the increase they suffered in June 2020.
"If we compare the prices that were the cheapest prices we ever saw that were in June 2020, from June 20 until today gasoline has risen 95 18,7 cents, 22,5 cents oil and 12,3 cents heating oil ", said Mr. Drousiotis.
But if we make a comparison with last March, specifically March 10, just before Koronovios, the prices are cheaper.
"From 10/3 last year, which was just before the Koronovirus, before the distribution measures, today's prices are 5,5 cents lower for gasoline 95, that is, today we are 5,5 cents below the prices before the Koronovios started and 3,4 , XNUMX in the case of diesel and heating oil ", added Drousiotis.
"I believe that in 15-20 days this difference will be covered and we will exceed the prices before Koronovios".
