The Social Security Services, in an effort to further serve the citizens, issue on a weekly basis an announcement regarding the date of examination of the applications received and concerning pensions / allowances / benefits.
1. Epunemployment benefits:
- The applications of those employees whose employment was terminated and their period of unemployment began on 16/3/2021 are being examined.
- The cases of those who already receive unemployment benefit, which concerns the unemployment period April - May 2021, are examined.
2. Paymentor due to surplus: Applications submitted in May - June 2020 are examined. It is noted that there are a number of applications submitted before the above date for which the examination can not be completed because the employers have not yet sent the requested information.
3. Epdisease idiom: A pan-Cypriot campaign is underway to examine the applications.
(applications received until 8/4/2021 are examined)
4. Σdisability pension: Applications submitted in February-March 2021 are considered to have been submitted to a Medical Council.
5. Σincapacitation: The received applications December 2020 - January 2021 are examined considering that they have been sent to the Medical Council.
6. Epbodily injury: Applications received in April 2021 are examined.
7. MondayAthmic Medical Council: The July 2020 hierarchical appeals are examined.
8. Institutionspension: The received applications for which the applicants acquire the right December 2020 - January 2021 are examined.
9. Socialthe pension: The received applications for which the applicants are entitled in December 2020 are examined.
10 Σwidowhood:
- For cases where the deceased spouse did not receive a statutory pension, the applications received in January 2021 are examined.
- For cases where the deceased spouse received a statutory pension, the applications received in January 2021 are examined.
- With the enactment of the Amending Law 126 (I) / 2019 on Social Insurance on 5/8/2019, the received applications, by male applicants, of 2019 and 2020 are examined.
11. Funeral aid:
- For the cases where the deceased received a widow's pension, the received applications of January 2021 are examined.
- For cases where the deceased received a statutory pension, did not have a spouse and the request for funeral assistance comes from another person who undertook the funeral expenses, the received applications for January 2021 are examined.
- For the cases where the deceased received a social pension, the received applications of January 2021 are examined.
- For other cases (eg the deceased was / was not retired and had a spouse, the deceased was not retired and did not have a spouse, the deceased was a young person, unmarried, and the application comes from the parent or siblings, the deceased was missing) applications received in January 2021 are examined.
12. Orphan allowance: Applications received in February - March 2021 are examined.
13. Childbirth allowance: The applications received in January 2021 are examined.
14 Epmaternity ward:
- For the first payment, the received applications are examined until 11/3/2021.
- For continuous payments, applications are considered for which the necessary information has been provided (eg birth declaration) received in January 2021.
15. Epidiom of paternity: Applications received in February 2021 are examined.
16. Requests for institutionalized pension, widowhood and incapacity paid under bilateral agreements and the European Union Regulation 883/04:
- Institutionalized Syntax: Applications for which responses have been received regarding data, certificates and insurance accounts from other institutions, for applicants with a date of birth in 1954–1957.
- Disability Pension: Applications submitted in June 2021 will be considered.
- Widow's Pension: The received applications of March 2021 are examined, for which answers have been received regarding data, certificates and insurance accounts from other bodies.
- Orphan Allowance: Applications received in May 2020 for which responses have been received regarding data, certificates and insurance accounts from other institutions are examined.
17. Criminal Cases: In March 2021 (latest data) 1300 criminal cases were pending, of which 893 concerned employers and 407 concerned self-employed.
