The state of health of little Antonis is progressing smoothly, who is hospitalized in a hospital in Boston, USA, where he underwent specialized treatment for the rare disease Muscle Atrophy Type 1, from which he suffers.
The good news was announced by the Minister of Health Konstantinos Ioannou, in statements after today's meeting of the Council of Ministers, emphasizing that the Ministry of Health is constantly informed about the course of treatment of the young child. According to Mr. Ioannou, the return of the child to Cyprus is expected in two months.
At the same time, the Minister of Health pointed out the need for the Greek government to respond immediately to the request of the family of little Panagiotis Raphael to be sent to the same hospital where little Antonis is being treated, since he is facing the same health problem.
