Christodoulidis: "Cyprus is in a difficult situation and in crisis"

President Nikos Christodoulidis is going to Lebanon on Monday for a meeting with the country's leadership, in relation to immigration.

In statements to journalists, in Tochni, the President of the Republic said that he will be accompanied by the Ministers of Interior and Foreign Affairs, the Chief of the National Guard and other state officials.

Asked to state something specific in relation to the support that Nicosia expects from the Commission on immigration, he stated that next Sunday he will meet with the President of the European Commission, adding that there is also contact at a technocratic level.

The President of the Republic pointed out that Cyprus is indeed in a difficult situation and in crisis.

He however assured that he will do everything possible, noting that he is not ruling out anything to address the situation. And it will be dealt with, he concluded.
