An 86-year-old American woman was given the opportunity of her life by a company with toothpastes, which chose her for an advertisement that will be broadcast on her favorite show.

According to People magazine, Bertha Nan, a grandmother of six grandchildren, had ambitions to become an actress, but left her aside to raise her children. However, her dreams have come to life again, thanks to the NGO "Wish of a Lifetime", which makes wishes to the elderly in America.

"I took care of my family, I did not pursue my dream"
The 86-year-old, thanks to the organization, starred in a toothpaste commercial. "I did not really want to be in a movie. "I just wanted to do TV commercials," Bertha Nan explained in a video from behind the scenes of the commercial.

"I was taking care of my family, I did not try to pursue my dream. "Now is my chance to do it," said Bertha, 86, during the filming of the TV commercial.

"When we heard Bertha's wish to become an actress, we wanted it to come true. We met and he lit up the place. "It made everyone smile, it brought tons of energy and we saw how magical it can be on camera, so we wanted to share the magic with everyone," said Carlos de Jisus, vice president of North America's major oral care company.

The ad aired for the first time on NBC on Thanksgiving and will air during the break of the TV series "NCIS", which is Bertha Nann's favorite.
