As part of the implementation of the legislation on the Law on Infection Cleaning, members of the Police carried out a search in a store around 7.20 yesterday afternoon in Limassol.

During the inspection, they asked for the details of a man who was inside the store. He allegedly initially presented on his mobile phone a digital safe pass certificate as well as a photo of an Alien Registration Card with a specific name and age.

From further control, the man allegedly fell into various inaccuracies where he finally presented the real details of his identity. He is a 27-year-old man who, as he mentioned, is not a holder of a safe pass and asked the holder of the documents that he initially presented and that belong to a 21-year-old and is fully vaccinated, as he sends them to use them.

The 27-year-old was arrested for the spontaneous crime of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor and forgery, while around 2 in the morning today, the 21-year-old was also located, who was also arrested.

The above were taken into custody while the Limassol TAE continues the examinations.
