The snow in Troodos created the need for a trip to the highest peak of Cyprus, however due to the lockdown the Cypriots did not know if they could go and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Speaking on the show Mesimeri and something, the Press Spokesman of the Police, Christos Andreou clarified that, according to the Decrees, any person can go for physical and individual exercise purposes to any other Province.
However, he asked the citizens not to take advantage of the system in view of the weekend as well.
"We have received a large number of messages since yesterday on this issue. We clarify that for sports purposes one can go to another province for three hours as it is valid by sending the relevant message. "Access to squares and parks is made clear that it is not allowed for gatherings," he said.
The Police stressed that Mr. Andreou will carry out strict checks at the spot at the weekend.
