Υπ. Health: What changes for contacts that are not isolated from a case

Everything that is valid from today

The Ministry of Health, following the decision of the Council of Ministers on March 3, 2022, informs that as of today, March 8, 2022, the persons who are close contacts of a confirmed positive event and have not been isolated from the positive in the virus person (eg parents who care their minor child, caregivers caring for people who can not self-care) will be able to be released on the day the positive incident is released, provided they have obtained a negative test result (Rapid or PCR).

It is reminded that under the close contact management protocol, the following restrictions are mandatory:

• people who do not have a history of vaccination,

• people who have not completed their immunization schedule (two doses for dosing vaccines or 14 days after getting the Johnson & Johnson vaccine),

• people who have completed their vaccination program and the 7-month period has passed, or have become ill and the 90-day period has passed.
