The German firm announced that an upgraded version of the new Cascada, with more horsepower, will premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

This version will be powered by the well-known 1,6 liter turbo. SIDI Ecotec petrol engine, which instead of 170 (of the current model), will produce 200 hp and 300 Nm of torque, while it will be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission and will reach a top speed of 235 km / h.

Also, the average consumption of the most powerful version will be 6,7 l / 100 km with CO2 emissions ranging at 158 ​​g / km.

In terms of design and equipment we do not seem to have any particular changes, only externally the rear bumper, as we see in the picture, will "accommodate" a second end of the exhaust system.

Finally, the launch in the markets, according to the company will take place, immediately after the Exhibition of the German "motorway", but its prices have not been announced yet.
