Anastasiadis-Pavlopoulos: Absolute cooperation between Athens and Nicosia

The presidents of Greece and Cyprus stood in absolute cooperation between Athens and Nicosia in their statements after the completion of their meeting in Athens.

President Anastasiadis spoke in his statements on the stabilizing factor of the two countries, a fact which is emphasized by the tripartite meetings with the participation of Israel, Egypt and Jordan. Regarding the Cyprus issue, Nikos Anastasiadis stressed the need to find a solution that is a model for the region.
The President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos in his own statements referred to the Cyprus issue, emphasizing the need to find a solution which for Athens will be a solution without occupation troops, based on European law and the decisions of the United Nations.
