The Bi-Zonal Bicommunal Federation in the form currently being discussed will be a tombstone of Cypriot Hellenism, said the presidential candidate Christos Christou.
Speaking on the Face to Face show, Mr. Christou added that any form of federation system discussed for Cyprus would be non-functional and unsustainable.
ELAM, he said, disagrees and has transferred its positions to the National Council.
Mr. Christou also said that our side is constantly giving in to the demands of the Turks: Territorial, education, economy and rotating presidency.
He concluded that new foundations must be laid and called on the political leadership to hold a referendum so that the people can decide on the solution they want.
