The President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis, today had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Mr. Najib Mikati.
The telephone communication took place following the visit of President Christodoulidis on April 8, to Lebanon - where he was accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the Interior and the Commander of the KYP/National Security Adviser - regarding the course of implementation of what was discussed during the visit.
The President of the Republic also informed the Prime Minister of Lebanon about the contacts he has at EU level regarding the role he can play in the joint effort.
Finally, the two leaders agreed to stay in touch for further coordination.
