About 20 passengers are expected to arrive in Larnaca by cruise ship from Israel by November.

The first arrival for this year "took place at noon on Friday, May 13, from Haifa on the ship" Crown Iris "which carried a thousand passengers. The cruise ship will make a total of 15 scheduled arrivals in the port of Larnaca during the period May-November, while most of the time it will spend the night in the port ".
It is estimated that "this cruise ship will transport to Larnaca throughout the season around 20 thousand passengers."
According to the announcement, "the passengers and the crew were welcomed at the pier of Larnaca port by the Municipality of Larnaca, the Larnaca Tourism Development and Promotion Company and Kition Ocean Holdings. The ETAP announcement also states that the cruise ships "Clio" and "La Belle De L 'Adriatique" are also planning arrivals within the year, further increasing the passenger traffic in the port of Larnaca.
