Volvo has created a program that is compatible with the V40 model and through a smartphone application, essentially helps the driver in parking.
Not only does it undertake to find the appropriate parking space for the car, but much more, it undertakes the direction of the vehicle, so that with the necessary actions and the special sensors it can park it in a specific empty space.
It goes without saying that this program has been adjusted in order to avoid sidewalks and to protect pedestrians.
Although the company has not released technical details, it seems to have completed all the studies for this system and is ready to launch it. He also announced that he will continue to work on such projects, to facilitate the daily lives of drivers.
He even mentioned that in the XC90, which will be released in 2015, there will be an autonomous steering system.
