Chicken teriyaki

Make the most delicious, easy and fast chicken teriyaki. You will love it young and old!

 Components

  • 2 pieces of chicken fillet, cut into cubes
  • 2 and others olive oil
  • 80 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. corn flour
  • 4 tbsp. water
  • 3 tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. sake (or rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp mirin (or white wine)
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  •  Sesame, for garnish
  • Basmati rice, for serving

 Execution method

  • Put the soy sauce, sugar, sake, mirin in a bowl and mix.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium heat and put the salt and pepper chickens until golden brown, for about 2 on each side
  • Add the garlic and stir until lightly browned
  • Dissolve the corn flour with the water and add it to the mixture with the soy sauce and mix.
  • Add the mixture to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce sets.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and serve with basmati rice and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 80 ml soy willow
  • 2 tbs corn flour
  • 4 tbs water
  • 3 tbs dark brown sugar
  • 3 tbs sake (or rice wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar)
  • 2 tbs mirin (or white wine)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  •  Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Basmati rice, for serving

Method

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, sake, mirin until smooth.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add chicken to skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and almost cooked through, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Add garlic and whisk until golden.
  • Dissolve corn flour in water, add it to the bowl with soy sauce and whisk well.
  • Pour sauce over chicken and simmer until sauce has thickened slightly and chicken is cooked through, 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and serve over rice. Enjoy!
