Ingredients for 4 people

Implementation

  • 4 long narrow buns for hot dog
  • 4 Frankfurt type sausages
  • 2 dried onions
  • 3 and others olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • mustard
  • ketchup
  1. Cut the onions into very thin slices and put them in a pan with a little oil.
  2. Saute the onions over low heat until soft.
  3. Add sugar, vinegar, a pinch of salt and stir until caramelized.
  4. Bake the sausages on a grill until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  5. Wrap the buns in a transparent film and put them one by one in the microwave for 10 seconds, so that they warm up and soften.
  6. Cut the bread in half and put the sausage, caramelized onions, plenty of mustard and ketchup.
