The Famagusta District Court sentenced a 32-year-old Bulgarian man, a permanent resident of Frenaros, to one month in prison after he was arrested after the police realized that he was in possession of a TAE Famagusta mobile phone.
The case concerns a theft that took place in 2014 during the detention of the Bulgarian for other offenses related to burglary in the area of Famagusta.
The young man was brought before the District Court of Famagusta in Paralimni and after a hearing today he was sentenced to one month in prison. Shortly afterwards, he was transferred to Central Prison to serve his sentence.
