Whether you are one of those who organize their suitcase at the last minute, or one of those who have everything in their planner to be organized, you should make sure before you leave for the islands, to do a series of chores.
The chores you should do at home before you go on vacation
Specifically:
- She cleaned out her fridge and cupboards kitchen: It is important that before you go on vacation, you should not leave any perishable food in your fridge or cupboards. So do a good decluttering, eat as much as you can before you leave, and clean the surfaces.

- Turn off the water supply: Once you go on vacation, make sure to close the water valves so they don't drip unnecessarily. In fact, if you plan to be gone for several days, a good idea to avoid any damage, in case of a leak, is to turn off the water supply as well.
- Turn off the switches at home: Along with the water supply, we don't forget about the electricity. Don't forget to turn on the water heater or other electrical and/or electronic devices such as the TV, the computer, or the washing machine, and put whoever you need in the electrical panel and unplug everything you need!
- Load a washing machine and don't leave unwashed and/or discarded clothes: When you come back from vacation you will have a suitcase of clothes to wash, so plan now and don't leave unwashed. So collect the laundry from the laundry basket and put a few washers in before you leave. If you don't have time to iron them, it doesn't matter, but make sure to fold them and leave them neatly.
- Do not leave second keys anywhere: Do not leave second keys at home, it is better to give your house keys directly to the person you want, so that there are no unexpected ones.
- Wash the dishes & clean him up sink: Wash all the dishes, glasses and the like and clean your sink well.
- Lock the doors & close the windows well: To ensure the safety of your home while you're away, don't forget to lock all doors – even the internal ones, and close the windows and patio doors.
If you have an alarm or fire safety system, don't forget to activate it before you leave the house!
