Pavlos Kontidis took "head" and bowed for gold! Our sailor completed the fourth route in first place and with it took the lead in the overall standings, now leading the race for the highest step of the podium.
Although he did not start very well, Kontidis completed the route impressively and shortly before the end he managed to get to the forefront.
The silver medalist of London is by far the most stable athlete in his category. He finished the first four laps as fourth, third (twice) and first, while at the same time none of his opponents managed to have four placements in the top ten.
Today's (27/7) program includes two more races before tomorrow's break. The rest of the program includes four more plus the medal race, in which the score is double.
