Nadal, in a shocking final, defeated Medvedev 2-6, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 and climbed to the podium of world tennis and Grand Slams history, surpassing Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic who have 20 trophies in their collection.
