The Apoplous Culture Workshop in collaboration with the Famagusta Chess Club and the Cyprus Chess Federation organizes the Pancyprian Youth Chess Championship 2019.
The Pancyprian Youth Chess Championship 2019 which is the most important chess event for children under 18 years old.
The event is announced by the Cyprus Chess Federation (KYSO). The races will take place on the following days at the Frenaru Community Council:
- Saturday 06/4/2019,
- Sunday 07/4/2019,
- Saturday 13/4/2019,
- Sunday 14/4/2019,
- Saturday 20/4/2019 and
- Sunday 21/4/2019.
The tournament will have 12 categories: U08, U08G, U10, U10G, U12, U12G, U14, U14G, U16, U16G, U18, U18G
The thinking time for each chess player will be 90 minutes for the first 40 moves and an additional 30 minutes until the end of the game, with an increase of 30 seconds for each move completed from the first move.
If a chess player counts more than 15 minutes from the start of the match and has not yet appeared, he will be automatically reset.
