The Robotics departments of the association "APOLOUS Culture Workshop" participated last weekend in the second Robotics Robotics competition 18.
The competition took place at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia. Our club participated with 11 different teams, in 7 different categories with 5 different robotic systems.
The Happy-Bots team won the first Pancyprian award in the Engino Mini category, building a robot that detects and cleans garbage from the sea, as well as the robot friend Happy-Bot.
The children will represent Cyprus and the province of Famagusta for the second consecutive year in the World Robotics Competition held in Estonia.
In the other categories there were also significant distinctions.
