The Municipality of Sotiras screens the film "The History of the Green Line" by the Cypriot Director, Panikos Chrysanthos, on Thursday, January 25, at 19:30 at the Municipal Theater of Sotiras. The film was also shot in Sotira.

The play:
Cyprus (Michalis Sophocleous), a Greek Cypriot soldier sent to serve in the "green line" of Nicosia, discovers that one of the opposing soldiers, Murat, is staying at home.
The war forced both to move - Cyprus from north to south and Murad from south to north.
When Murat goes to the village on leave, he brings to Cyprus a gift from his home, a family photo, which awakens his ghosts. Inside is his murdered father and the woman he loved.
