A Cypriot with his kindness became known throughout England

Fortunately, there are still people who, through their actions, send messages full of love. They are the ones who know that goodness always begets goodness. They know that we become richer by seeing the good we have offered expand, strengthen and stay in the souls of other people.

One such person is Mr. Tassos Loukas who has been living in England for 38 years. Mr. Lucas is a well-known philanthropist and several times, English newspapers write about his philanthropic work.

The businessman has a restaurant in Rotherham and only makes fish with french fries. Many times, he happened to fry all day to raise money and offer it to those who need it: hospitals, institutions, children in Africa but also to people with serious health problems.

Mr. Tasos was born in Ormidia and has 6 brothers. At the age of 19, as soon as he finished the army, he went to England with his wife. They worked very hard in their lives but managed to build a wonderful family. They have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

Recently, he offered the profits of his restaurant for a day at a local clinic. That day, Mr. Lucas offered food to the world for just £ 4.50 (about 5 euros), by the time it closed. The Cypriot restaurant then stated in a newspaper: "Every cent will go to the clinic". The reason he decided to help the local clinic, and in particular, the local rehabilitation center, was because one of his clients told him about his wife's health problem and the help and support that the center provided them.

"In the beginning, nothing was easy in England. We went through very difficult times until we got back on our feet. We worked very hard all these years and did a lot of work.

I always told my children that kindness is the most important virtue, because it offers peace of mind to the one who gives it and hope to the one who receives it. Goodness is found even in the simplest, everyday, in a single smile!
