The truth is that pouring wine on your clothes or on the tablecloth is one of the most common "accidents" at the Easter table. But the wine stain is also one of the most difficult and most of the time it is difficult to get out.

However, there is a way to remove it and not with much effort. See below how the stain is wet and when it has dried on the fabric.

If it is fresh

As soon as wine falls on the fabric, the first thing you need to do is dab the stain with enough kitchen paper. Pour a small amount of white wine on the stained area as this will help to neutralize the acidity of the red wine, and therefore to remove the stain more easily. Then add an equal amount of white vinegar and baking soda. Stir until the mixture is homogeneous and then spread it on the stain. Leave the mixture to act for about 5 minutes and then rinse well. Then wash the laundry in the washing machine.

If it is dry

Soak the clothes in warm water. Follow the steps above for the fresh stain. Then pour enough salt on the stain. Leave it for about five minutes. Add a little ammonia to the stain and leave it to act for a few minutes. Wash clothes regularly in the washing machine.
